Microneedling is generally safe & effective but is NOT recommended for:
- People who take or have had radiation in the past year
- Pregnant women or breast feeding
- People with skin disease
- People with a history of scarring or poor wound healing
- People who have taken Accutane in the past six months
- People with open wounds or skin infections
- People with active skin conditions, like eczema or rosacea
- People with moderate to severe psoriasis or eczema
- People with keloidal tendencies or tend to develop raised scars on their skin
- People who are going through chemotherapy or are immunosuppressed due to another medication or condition.
